How the website and current Tradely app use information.
The marketing website
These pages explain Tradely and link to its web app. They do not ask for account credentials or payment information. There are no advertising trackers or analytics cookies on these marketing pages. Firebase Hosting serves the site and may process standard network request information.
Accounts and project information
The web app and mobile app use Firebase for authentication, data, uploaded media and notifications. Company descriptions, portfolios, reviews and general service areas may be visible to signed-in members. Sign-in emails, phone numbers, full postal codes and private business addresses are not part of public profiles.
Conversations and sharing
Messages and attachments are available to conversation participants. Exact addresses and contact details are shared when you choose. You can stop further access in the app; recipients may retain copies of information already shared.
AI assistance
When you use project assistance, translations or AI help, submitted text or audio is processed by Google's AI service. Review responses and drafts before using them. Transcription recordings are deleted after processing, with cleanup for unfinished uploads. Drafts, transcripts and recent support chat remain in your account until removed or the account is deleted. Do not send passwords, payment card details or private identity documents to AI assistance.
Payments and identity checks
Stripe processes membership payments and stores payment details; Tradely does not store full card numbers. We retain billing references, consent records and transaction status for account access, accounting and fraud prevention. When identity checks become available and you consent, documents and selfies are submitted directly to Stripe Identity. Tradely stores the verification reference and outcome rather than copies of those documents. Payment records may need to be retained after account deletion as required by law.
Area lookup and devices
Postal or ZIP lookup uses Zippopotam.us to find an approximate area. For Canadian addresses, only the first three postal-code characters are used for lookup. Push notifications on supported mobile devices use Firebase and, on Apple devices, Expo's notification service. The marketing website does not request notification, microphone, camera or location permissions.
Your choices
In the app you can manage notification preferences, edit your profile, remove portfolio items and saved items, and request account deletion after active projects are complete. Support requests and verification documents are restricted to their owners and authorised administrators.
